You’re good at your job. You’ve done everything right. And somewhere between the early starts and the late nights, a quiet thought has started showing up more often than you’d like.

Is this it?

Not because life is bad. But because somewhere inside you, there’s a version of your life that looks completely different — and you’ve never quite been able to shake it.

If that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.

I’m Jon. I’m 50 years old, and I’ve spent nearly 30 years as a police officer on the Isle of Man. My wife Natalie works nights managing a team at Tesco. Our son TN is 13.

By every measure, we have a good life. Stable. Secure. Predictable.

And in September 2027, we’re leaving it behind — to slow travel the world as a family, while TN completes his education on the road.

This is where we document the whole thing. The planning. The fear. The preparation. And eventually, the life itself.

Classroom Earth isn’t a travel blog. It’s proof that people like us — normal people with real careers, real kids and real responsibilities — can choose a different kind of life.

Whether you want to do exactly what we’re doing, or you just need to know someone else felt the same pull and did something about it — this is for you.
